Pre purchase timber pest inspection

Tiger Pest and Weed Control works closely with a number of building inspectors, property developers and building companies. We ensure that we as a company and our technicians are kept up to date with current building issues, standards or regulations within Western Australia.

All of our timber pest inspections are performed in accordance to Australian standard AS 4349.3 - 1998 Inspection of buildings, timber pest inspections.

Our inspections include the inspection of the property and its timber elements for any timber pests. Once the inspection has been completed a report is also compiled. This report is in accordance to Australians Standards and REIWA regulations.

The timber pest inspection includes the following:

Locating records of any past treatments
Inspection of the roof
Inspections of the subfloor (if any)
Timber cabinets /cupboards inspected
Skirting board checked
All out buildings /structures
Trees surrounding the property are also inspected

On completion of the inspection we will also provide a proposal for a termite protected treatment which our operator would recommend based on their inspection.
